ProgDVB is a universal and powerful tool to receive, watch and listen both analog and digital TV and broadcastings from any sources (satellite, cable and on-the-air TV, Internet etc), and also review of media files with transmission possibility all of this via various types of networks. CPU-Z is a freeware utility that gathers information on some of the main devices of your system. CPU-Z does not need to be installed, just unzip the files in a directory and run the .exe. In order to remove the program, just delete the files. The program does not copy any file in any Windows directory, nor write to the registry.

FBackup 4.8.278
FBackup is a free backup software that protects your important data by backing it up automatically to any USB/Firewire device, local or network location. The backed up data can be either compressed (using standard zip compression) or an exact copy of the original files.

NirLauncher 1.15.07
NirLauncher is a suite of more than 100 of NirSoft's excellent portable freeware Windows utilities, and provides an interface that makes it easy to find and launch the tools you need. Which works for us - because there's something here for everyone.
Have you forgotten a password stored in your browser or email client, for instance? Recovery tools here may be able to find them for you.
Maybe you'd like to check your hard drive health? A disk tool will display its S.M.A.R.T. data (if the drive supports this), so you can view read/ write errors, temperature and other useful details.
Is your system unstable? The System Utilities section includes several tools that can help to explain why your PC might be crashing.

Please note, perhaps because a few of these tools can be used maliciously (the password revealers, say), some antivirus programs will flag them as threats. We've never had a problem with any NirSoft tool, though, and you can read more on this issue at the author's site.
NirLauncher is an excellent set of free tools, and a must-have for everyone's portable troubleshooting toolkit.

PotPlayer is an extremely light-weight multimedia player for Windows. It feels like the KMPlayer, but is in active development. Supports almost every available video formats out there. PotPlayer contains internal codecs and there is no need to install codecs manually. It's been described on the Internet as The KMPlayer redux, and it pretty much is. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows are supported.
